New range of Kobra TS shredders with Touch Screen tecnology

Functions are activated by simply touching the required command on the Touch Screen panel.

KOBRA "TS" shredders come with an EPC - Electronic Power Control system: shows the shredding load required to optimise shredding without jams.

Illuminated optical indicators on the Touch Screen panel show the current status of the machine or Energy Smart lights up when the machine is into power saving stand-by mode. There is also a light to warn the operator when the cutting knives need to be oiled. In shredders with an automatic oiler, a light comes on when the oil container is empty.

- Energy Smart® system: is the most advanced energy saving system around. When the machine has not been used for just eight seconds, the shredder goes into automatic power saving stand-by mode and can be restarted by simply inserting material into the machine to be shredded. When the machine has not been used for four hours, it automatically disconnects from the mains power supply and even switches off the Energy Smart light so the machine is not left on when nobody is in the office.
- Automatic Reverse system: comes on when too much material is inserted into the shredder and puts the machine into automatic reverse.
- Continuous duty shredding 24 hours a day: special motors can operate 24 hours a day non-stop without overheating, allowing for continuous shredding and maximum daily shredding load.
- Two entry openings and two sets of cutting knives for the separate insertion and shredding of paper, Cds, DVDs, and credit cards and separation of shredded material into two bins.
- Sturdy steel gears’ and metal chain drive system: offers superior reliability and resistance to wear in comparison with cheaper plastic chain drive systems.
- New blade edges for the carbon hardened cutting knives: unaffected by staples and metal clips, makes it possible to achieve high shred loads with low power consumption.
- Built-in automatic oiling system: eliminates the need for manual oiling of cutting knives (optional on KOBRA “TS” cross-cut and HS shredders).
- “SHRED GUARD” - Metal Detection System: warns when metal objects of any size are accidentally inserted into the entry opening and stops the machine before they reach the cutting knives. An illuminated optical indicator warns the operator to remove these objects in order to protect the knives(optional on KOBRA “TS” cross-cut and HS shredders).
