during the G8 summits, it was the KOBRA 240 HS range of shredders that was used. The special KOBRA 240 HS High Security shredder was supplied to the Presidents and Prime Ministers of Italy, the USA, France, Canada, Japan, Russia and Germany for the maximum security destruction of their documents. The CIA and the National Security Agency use shredders from the KOBRA HS High Security range.

All KOBRA shredders are in conformity with recognized international safety standards.
KOBRA HS high security level 5 shredders meet NATO security criteria.
KOBRA HS-6 and KOBRA Cyclone shredders at security level 6 are approved by and conform to the standards NSA/CSS Specification 02-01 of the US Government National Security Agency: the special 0.8x5 mm cut allows a single A4 to be shredded into about 16,000 pieces which are completely illegible even under an electron microscope.
All shredders are approved by and conform to the destruction criteria set out by ASIO - Australian Security Intelligence Organisation - T4 Protective Security:

- Administrative Security Working Committee
- ASIO-Protective Security Circular 118.
All guillotines are built in conformity with safety standards BS 5498 (British Standards).
